Peanut Butter Apple Dip {protein packed, but tastes like dessert!}

This Peanut Butter Apple Dip is so delicious, you’d never know that it’s SO good for you too! It’s packed with protein from peanut butter and Greek yogurt and sweetened with honey! And if you’re a Greek yogurt hater (like me), no worries– you can’t even tell there’s Greek yogurt in there! It’s just thick and creamy and delicious. And HEALTHY!

Y’all.

This dip is a STAPLE in my diet. I literally eat it every single day, and I never feel bad about it! It’s packed with protein and tastes like dessert. A win-win if I ever saw one!

And I don’t mean it’s like kind of good for healthy food. I mean… I could (uh… and do) eat this with a spoon instead of ice cream. I try not to eat it more than twice a day (it’s still got calories, people– no way around that!), but I sure look forward to it!! It’s maybe even more addicting than my mom’s peanut butter granola… which is basically crack. So….

Anyway. Let’s break this recipe down… although it won’t take long, because it’s super simple:

That’s it! And you can either make a big batch to keep in the refrigerator (which is what I do), or you can just make a single serving in a small bowl.

I know that some of you are Greek yogurt haters. And trust me, I get that. I have a really hard time eating the stuff, honestly. But I promise, this doesn’t taste like Greek yogurt. And it’s actually way better (and has WAY more protein) when you use Greek yogurt to make it over just regular yogurt. I’ve tried it both ways, and the creaminess that the Greek yogurt gives this dip just puts it over the top. I promise.

Chobani sent me a big box of their Greek yogurt a while back, and, frankly, I didn’t have high hopes for it. I thought about trying to bake with it, because I’ve heard that it makes your baked goods super moist and yummy. But I actually never got around to baking with it… because for some reason, I decided to whip up this dip instead! And used up ALL of the yogurt in my massive PB Apple Dip consumption.

Chobani is not sponsoring this post. Like… at all. They sent me the samples about a month ago, but I haven’t been in communication with them since then. Having said that– I’ve tried Greek yogurt on several occasions, and was always SUPER grossed out by it. But I have to admit: I think Chobani’s vanilla-flavored yogurt changed my mind. It’s seriously so good.

The reason I mention that is because Chobani vanilla is the only yogurt I’ve used in the making of this dip. I’m kind of scared to try another brand! So keep that in  mind when you’re whipping this up– I think the brand name actually matters here!

You guys are going to LOVE this dip. Seriously.

And then you’ll feel all full of energy and stuff from the protein 🙂 …right? …I think that’s what protein does?

Wait– who cares? It tastes like dessert 🙂
